Yin Yang Productions is a partnership formed by professional musicians Tracy Thomas and Nathan Thomas to present their live performances and recordings. Their performances together have included tributes to Kurt Weill and Hoagy Carmichael, and they also made an appearance on the "Millennium Stage" at the Kennedy Center honoring Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn. They are available for performances individually, as a duo, and as leaders of various small groups. Yin Yang Productions also represents Tracy Thomas as a teacher and Nathan Thomas in his other musical services and theatre work.

Tracy Thomas sings styles including opera (the Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro and Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, among others), oratorio (including the soprano solos in Mozart's Mass in C Major (at Lincoln Center), Mendelssohn's Elijah, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, and Rossini's Stabat Mater), and musical theatre (Maria in West Side Story, Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls, and Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof, for example), but she is best known for her explorations of the American Popular Songbook. In addition to her numerous cabaret and recital appearances, she has made solo appearances with the Eastern Connecticut Symphony, the Bloomington (IN) Pops and the Santa Barbara (CA) Symphony. She was also a Fellow at the Eugene O'Neill Cabaret Symposium, and twice won finalist prizes at the prestigious American Traditions Competition in Savannah, GA.

For eight years she was the vocal soloist for the United States Coast Guard Band. For “outstanding achievement” in her performance of those duties, she was awarded the Coast Guard Commendation Medal, one of the Coast Guard's highest honors. She has sung by invitation for President and Mrs. George W. Bush, former President and Mrs. William Clinton, and former Senator Robert Dole; she was especially honored to sing at the September 11, 2002 memorial service at the Pentagon.

Nathan Thomas is a professional musician (conductor/pianist/arranger), theatre practitioner (director/music director/actor), and teacher. He has directed musicals, plays, and operas; music directed shows in New York, on tour, and regionally; and played keyboards on Broadway, for national tours, and abroad. He taught at the University of Cincinnati and Western Illinois University, and now teaches privately.

Favorite theatrical productions have included Betrayal, Candide, and The Real Thing (director); Cabaret, Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, and Side By Side By Sondheim (director/music director); 110 in the Shade, Assassins, and Chicago (music director); Fosse (keyboard 1/assistant music director); Beehive, Lady, Be Good!, and West Side Story (pianist); Oleanna (actor/director); and Richard 3 and Seascape With Sharks and Dancer (actor).
